During the 2021-22 season, he appeared in three games for the Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards, averaging 3.3 points, 1.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.7 steals.
As a college basketball player for LSU (two seasons), Waters averaged 15.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 42.3% from the field.
In his final season, LSU reached the Sweet 16 before losing to Michigan State.
In 40 regular season games, Waters averaged 3.7 points and 2.1 assists per game while shooting 35.4% from the field and 29.6% from three.
Additionally, he played in four NBA playoff games with the Celtics and was a member of the team that reached the Eastern Conference Finals in 2020.
During 65 regular season games (and 13 Showcase Cup games and two G League playoff games), Waters averaged 15.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.8 steals.
Waters, 25, has a good chance of returning to the NBA at some point in the future.
